Chapter 11: Audiovisual Technologies
One Traditional Audio is audiocassettes and one that is emerging is Internet Radio. You could use audiocassettes for a reading that was written a long time ago and internet radio, you can get any station that you want and listen to in class, about the topic you have for like history. One Visual technology is Bulletine board and one emerging is digital projectors. Bulletine boards have been around, forever and you can put on there, homework that is due for the week, or upcoming event. Then the digital projector you can use to connect to the internet and show things on the board, use slide shows or show videos with it.
Chapter 6: Digital Technologies in the Classroom
I would rather teacher in a classroom with more technology. The reason for this is because for students who have hearing impaired problems, you can use a microphone for them to hear better with. Touch Screens for students who are younger or of a more hands on learning type of person. Or using a webcam like the students did at my highschool so we could chat with our teacher who had breast cancer to see how she was doing in the hospital.Yes, technology can mess up at times, you just have to plan ahead and have a back up plan for when that does happen.
